Claudia is leading the travel retail business for Swarovski across all regions, globally.
She is passionate about developing the jewelry and watches category across airports, downtown and cruise-ships.
Her focus is on an omni-channel business development through a customer and consumer centric and fact based framework.
Clive joined the Tourvest Group of companies in 2001, having held various senior leadership roles before taking on his current position of Chief Executive Officer of Tourvest Retail Services in February’2014.
Skilled in company strategy formulation and implementation, building successful teams, driving innovation, disruptive change and continuous improvement, client relationship building, negotiation and new business development.
Clive has a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales, amongst other tertiary qualifications.

Clive is married to Loretta (19 years), has two children (Morgan & Dylan) and enjoys distance running, squash, golf and the outdoors.
Gemma Bateson, Worldwide Duty Free Corporate Affairs and Communications Director, Japan Tobacco International (JTI).
Gemma has worked in the Travel Retail Industry for 16 years, beginning her career with British American Tobacco International, before moving to the Confectionary category as UK & Ireland Travel Retail Manager with Mondelez. In 2010 Gemma returned to the Tobacco category, joining JTI as International Key Account Manager.
The majority of Gemma’s Travel Retail career has been spent in commercial roles, most recently as Regional Director Middle East, Africa, UK & Ireland. In October 2016, Gemma moved to a new department - Corporate Affairs and Communications, where she holds her current position of Global Corporate Affairs and Communications Director.
In her current role, Gemma works with industry colleagues internally and externally to JTI, including the Regional Travel Retail Associations around the world, seeking to safeguard this unique retail channel, raise awareness of current issues and ensure the channel is well understood, recognised and protected.
Luke’s 17-year travel retail career, working for luxury companies such as Beam and Maxxium, has taken him to Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa and UK. Luke has a sound understanding of the challenges and opportunities from a retailer and supplier perspective that can drive brand growth across numerous categories and regions.
Luke has been Managing Director, Global Travel Retail at DISTELL since 2016. DISTELL is Africa’s leading producer and marketer of wines, spirits, ciders and other ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages.
Suzanne has worked in the Travel Retail industry for over eighteen years both in the UK and in the US, working in multiple channels including airport, border shops and for the last four and a half years in the cruise industry with Harding Retail, heading up the Buying and Merchandising Team. In addition to working as a retailer, Suzanne has worked for some luxury brands including Pernod Ricard, Berry Bros & Rudd, Lanson Champagne and The Edrington Group
